I.C.A.M. laboratories provide technology to help farmers and agronomist professionals optimize crop production using appropriate nutrient inputs, while minimizing side eﬀects on the environment:
The PHYTOTRON – climatic chambers with controlled growing condition
The Soil Physics Laboratory, ﬁtted with advanced equipment to determine compacted subsoil areas, provides precise recommendations on the need of subsoiling; the Chemical Analysis Laboratory is equipped with state of the art technology for fast and accurate sampling of soil samples.
> Micro-production Units for Experimental Research in Food Engineering
University’s 6 micro-production lines (for milk and meat processing, for bakery and pastry, and for beer production) are part of the interdisciplinary Department of Technology of Agricultural Products Processing (TPPA). Inaugurated in December 2018, the structure has nearly 7000 square metres of teaching and research facilities, allowing students and academics to combine their theoretical and practical knowledge, so to get closer to the market requirements.
